If you haven’t noticed by now, we’re passionate about Ergonomics! At Lap Works, we feel that everyone should be able to use their computer and their laptop free of pain! We’ve compiled a few of our favorite tips for everyone. With a few simple changes, it’s easy to improve your ergonomics:
- Move around. If you’re sitting all day, even in a ergonomically friendly chair, your body needs to move and stretch. Take short breaks once an hour to grab some water or just walk.
- Exercise. Strong muscles will help you have better posture and you’ll feel better every day.
- Use a laptop desk. If you’re using a laptop, either in your lap or on a table, you need a laptop desk to put it at the right angle for comfortable computing.
- Use a comfortable chair. It might be tempting to sit on the floor with your laptop, or on a stool next to your kitchen counter, but neither of these options will support good posture!
With just a few small changes, you can reduce pain, reduce your n for injury, and enjoy your laptop much more!
